Why is environmental education important for kids?

Today's children will be responsible for making decisions that will shape the health of the environment. To prepare them for such responsibilities, they need a sound environmental education as a foundation from which to make those decisions. Environmental education for children is critically important and should start as soon as possible. Early environmental education experiences help shape children's values, perspectives, and understanding of the environment and how to interact with it.

OneSea Kids is meant to highlight the most vulnerable aspect of the sustainable development: the children. This campaign aims to increase children's exposure to environmental issues. Public must be aware that in a yet vulnerable country children easly become even a more fragile and underprivileged part of the issue. We believe that armed with their new-found knowledge and information sheets, children can also become environmental leaders by transmitting their knowledge to the local community as well as to their family members.

We all need to think about our actions and how they will work to benefit ourselves and our children. Through the power of the environmental consciusness we can help the Sea. Members of  OneSea Team will keep contributing to the community through the involvement of children because they believe that education must be the tool which transforms society and must be the key for the sustainability.
