ACTIVITIES

Science alone will not solve our problems. Our political leaders need to recognize the importance of the environment along side the economy. We need a collective effort of determined people who recognize the urgency of the problem.

There are lots of things individuals can do to help manage the world's natural resources. And there are lots of local and national organisations offering you the chance to get involved in looking after the environment. OneSea itself gives you the chance to partecipate to one of these activities. We are presently developing conservation projects and awareness campaigns globally.

Many of them provide a globally-accredited training program that enables volunteers to gather high quality data that are useful to marine ecosystem managers. During these activities our volunteers regularly monitor and report on nearshore marine environment worldwide. This information is used by community groups, governments, universities and businesses to design and implement ecologically sound and economically sustainable aquatic world management.  In addition, the project activities involves discussion, debates and exchange of ideas, experiences, news, case studies, policies and practices in relation to sustainable development in their local area.

We are also committed to promoting environmental education, with which people will interact closely as part of their daily lives, since lifelong learning skill that can enhance life skills of the youths becomes today even more imperative.
